Official product in limited edition by Weta. Shouldn't they always be on the same side due to the mold? Were people making the holes for extra pieces after the thing was cast? So I can see where the assembler made that mistake, but how the hole got put on the wrong side of that piece is beyond me. If I'm not mistaken that's the hole for the little metal stair piece. Pretty sure that hole is on the wrong side of it too, which is probably why it was glued that way, because they knew the hole needed to be facing to the side. The Fellowship of the Ring Set 2 includes Gimli, Boromir. That's unfortunate, and one of the more obvious mistakes I've seen. The first set includes the first 3 characters Gandalf the Grey, Frodo Baggins and Legolas. It's definitely glued on sidewise, both of those curves at the end should be pointed inward towards the horse. ![]() Weta has been helpful and sending replacement for the horse and the other parts, so hopefully everything will be fine.ĭang. ![]() only to find it broken when I returned from vacation.! Anybody else had this issue? Basically one of the two cart poles was glued wrongly and had a different angle. ![]()
